Whittier Cruise Ship Transportation: Whitter-Anchorage Shuttles
Located about 20 miles southeast of Girdwood, Whittier is one of Alaska's busiest ports for major cruise ship passengers. We offer shuttle services for all major cruise ship arrivals and departures in both Whittier and Seward. All of the major cruise lines that come to Alaska, including Princess, Holland America and Royal Celebrity, port in either Whittier or Seward.
We offer safe, reliable, economic, and convenient transportation directly to and from the cruise terminals in Whittier and Seward. Our scheduled shuttles include stops at The Egan Center in downtown Anchorage, as well as the Ted Stevens International Airport and The Hotel Alyeska, in Girdwood. As an added convenience, we also offer door to door service for all of our shuttle passengers**.
Whittier Cruises
Our Whittier cruise transfer schedule is designed with your convenience in mind. For cruise passengers ending their cruise in Whittier, our 10:00 AM departure to Anchorage ensures that you will have enough time to disembark the ship before our shuttle departs for Anchorage. Our experience has shown that the majority of our clients aren't able to leave the ship until about 9:00 AM, so 10:00 is a great time to leave the cruise terminal parking lot. The ride to Anchorage is one of the most beautiful in the country, and takes between 1.5 and 2 hours. You can expect to be at your final destination by 12:00 PM.
For cruise passengers boarding the ship in Whittier, our 3:00 PM arrival puts you at the cruise terminal at the perfect time. Cruise employees don't generally begin checking luggage until 2:00 PM, and the cruise lines' many charter busses begin arriving at approximately 4:00 PM. Our shuttle driver will bring you to the terminal and make sure all of your bags are correctly tagged before checking them to be brought aboard the ship. You'll have your luggage checked, passed through the cruise terminal and be on the ship before the rush of passengers arrives.

The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, Begich Boggs Visitor Center, tramway at The Hotel Alyeska and The Crow Creek Gold Mine are all between Whittier and Anchorage and provide a great opportunity to fill some time you may have either on your way to Whittier or Anchorage.
